Roobet Plinko: Low, Medium, High and Lightning modes
Plinko is the oldest Roobet Original in the catalogue, dated 13 September 2022. A ball drops through rows of pegs and lands in a slot with a multiplier; four risk modes, Low, Medium, High and Lightning, change the multipliers on the slots. Plinko is one of two Originals with its own bet ceiling: the maximum stake is $10,000 instead of $20,000, while the $500,000 maximum win is standard. Verification uses a server seed, a client seed, a nonce and a game hash of the board.

Modes, rows and slots
A Plinko board is a triangle of pegs. The ball enters at the top, bounces left or right at every row, and ends in one of the slots along the bottom. Each slot has a multiplier; the slots at the edges carry the largest values and the slots near the centre the smallest. The ball starts in the middle, so centre slots are reached often and edge slots rarely: rare slots pay more.
The Help Center names four modes for the Roobet version: Low, Medium, High and Lightning. The mode changes the multipliers on the slots, not the path probabilities; a higher-risk mode moves value from the centre slots to the edges. The row count sets how many slots exist and how rare the edges are. The multiplier of every slot is printed on the board for the selected mode and row count; the operator publishes no house edge, so no payout tables are reproduced here.
- the ball bounces left or right at every row of pegs;
- the landing slot decides the multiplier;
- Low, Medium, High and Lightning change the slot values;
- edge slots are rare and pay more, centre slots are frequent and pay less;
- the row count sets the number of slots.
The Roobet guide opens with an overview of the catalogue, the cashier, the rewards and the licence; this chapter goes into one part of it in detail.
Slot probability calculator
The form computes the probability of each landing slot for a chosen row count under the assumption of a fair 50/50 bounce at every peg. It describes the geometry of the board, not the payouts, which depend on the mode and are shown in the game.
The values illustrate why the edge slots are so rare: with 16 rows the outermost slot is reached once in 65,536 drops on average. A mode that puts its highest multiplier there pays it correspondingly seldom.
Dropping a ball
The panel is the same on desktop and on the mobile site. An account with a funded balance is needed for real drops; Fun Play works without one. Players must be adults, and the responsible gambling page explains wager and loss limits.
- Open Plinko in the Roobet Originals row.
- Choose the mode: Low, Medium, High or Lightning.
- Select the number of rows.
- Enter the stake, from $0.01 to $10,000.
- Press Bet to drop one ball, or use Autobet for a series of drops.
Several balls can be in the air at once; each one is a separate bet with its own nonce.
Limits: the $10,000 exception
The Game Policy v4.5.0 lists Plinko as one of two Originals with a non-standard maximum bet. The ceiling is $10,000 per ball, half of the general $20,000 figure. The maximum win stays at $500,000 per bet.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum bet | $0.01 |
| Maximum bet | $10,000 (general Originals ceiling: $20,000) |
| Maximum win per bet | $500,000 |
| Modes | Low, Medium, High, Lightning |
| Demo | Fun Play |
| Autobet | built in |
The Originals hub compares these figures with the other 14 games, and the rewards chapter explains how Originals wagers feed rakeback.
Provably fair with a game hash
Plinko adds a fourth element to the usual scheme. The fairness page lists a server seed from the casino, a client seed from the player, a nonce that increments after each bet, and a game hash provided by the casino. The game hash identifies the current board and changes periodically; the other three ingredients behave as in Mines or Dice. The player receives the SHA256 hash of the server seed before the first drop and may change the client seed before any bet.
On verification the casino reveals the server seed, re-runs the ingredients to regenerate the path of the ball, and resets both the nonce and the server seed. Hashing the revealed seed with SHA256 and comparing it with the hash shown at the start proves that the seed was fixed in advance. The Verify Results button on the Plinko tab of roobet.com/fair executes the same logic. The chapter on fairness and the licence covers the system as a whole.
- server seed: hashed with SHA256 and shown before play, revealed on request;
- client seed: set by the player, changeable before any bet;
- nonce: rises by one per drop, reset on reveal;
- game hash: identifies the board and changes periodically.
Plinko mistakes and fixes
The errors specific to Plinko come from the two limits and from the mode selector. The table gives the fix for each.
| Mistake | Consequence | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Entering a stake above $10,000 | the panel refuses the bet; the Plinko ceiling is lower than the Originals norm | keep single balls at $10,000 or less |
| Reading Lightning as a higher win chance | the mode changes slot values, not the path probabilities | compare the printed multipliers of each mode |
| Dropping many balls on Autobet without a stop rule | the series continues until the count or the balance runs out | set the number of balls and a stop condition |
| Verifying without the game hash | the board cannot be reproduced | copy the game hash from the bet details |
| Expecting an edge slot every few drops | edge slots are rare by the geometry of the board | use the calculator to see the frequency |
Plinko in the catalogue
The catalogue row of 22 October 2026 lists Plinko with the studio Roobet, the category provably fair, the tags roobet-games and arcade, Fun Play on and the earliest release date of all Originals, 13 September 2022. Among the 15 Originals the game holds the third place in the popularity sort and the fourth in the weekly activity counter.

Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the most common questions on this topic.
What modes does Roobet Plinko have?
Low, Medium, High and Lightning; the mode sets the multipliers on the slots.
What is the maximum bet in Plinko?
$10,000 per ball, a policy exception to the $20,000 Originals ceiling; the maximum win is $500,000.
Does the mode change the ball's path?
No. The path follows the pegs with equal chances; the mode changes only the slot values.
How is a Plinko drop verified?
With the server seed, the client seed, the nonce and the game hash on the Plinko tab of roobet.com/fair.
Is there a Plinko demo?
Yes. Fun Play runs the same board with play money.
