Roobet Dice: roll over or under on a 0–100 scale
Dice is the simplest of the Roobet Originals: a number is drawn on a 0–100 scale, and the bet wins if it lands over or under a target set by the player. The target fixes the win chance, and the multiplier follows the chance. In the catalogue the game is the only Original in the category dice rather than provably fair, with a release date of 10 April 2023. Bets run from $0.01 to $20,000, the maximum win is $500,000, and each roll is verifiable with a server seed, a client seed and a nonce. The game has moved to a new engine, so the fairness page offers two verifiers.

Over, under and the target
Every roll produces a number on a scale from 0 to 100. The player sets a target and a direction: roll over the target or roll under it. The share of the scale on the winning side is the win chance, and the game displays the multiplier that corresponds to that chance before the bet. A narrow winning range carries a high multiplier; a wide range carries a multiplier close to 1x. The number itself is derived from the seeds and the nonce, so it is fixed the moment the bet is placed.
Three fields on the panel are linked: the target, the win chance and the multiplier. Editing any one of them updates the other two. The operator does not publish the house edge of the Originals, which means the exact relation between chance and multiplier is only visible on the panel and is not reproduced here. The general shape is universal for the format: the multiplier is roughly the inverse of the win chance, reduced by the edge.
- a number from 0 to 100 is drawn per roll;
- the player chooses over or under a target;
- the win chance equals the share of the scale on the chosen side;
- the multiplier is shown before the bet and follows the chance;
- Autobet repeats the same settings for a set number of rolls.
The Roobet guide opens with an overview of the catalogue, the cashier, the rewards and the licence; this chapter goes into one part of it in detail.
Placing a Dice bet
Dice settles in a second, which makes it the quickest Original to learn on the panel. Real bets need a balance on the crypto side of the wallet; Fun Play does not. Dice is for players of 18 and over; the responsible gambling page describes the account limits.
- Open Dice in the Roobet Originals category.
- Type the stake; the panel accepts $0.01 to $20,000.
- Pick a direction, over or under, and drag the target or type a win chance.
- Read the multiplier shown for those settings.
- Press Roll, or enable Autobet with a number of rolls and optional stop rules.
The bet history stores the roll, the target, the engine used and the seeds; the engine field decides which verifier to use.
Limits for Dice
The Game Policy v4.5.0 gives Dice the standard Originals figures. The cap on a single win is relevant for high-multiplier settings: a stake near the maximum with a narrow target can exceed $500,000 on paper and is paid at the cap.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum bet | $0.01 |
| Maximum bet | $20,000 |
| Maximum win per bet | $500,000 |
| Scale | 0–100, over or under |
| Demo | Fun Play |
| Automation | Autobet; external bots prohibited |
How Dice wagers count toward rakeback is explained in the rewards chapter; the Originals hub lists the limits of all 15 games in one table.
Provably fair: seeds, nonce and two engines
Dice uses three ingredients, as the fairness page lists them: a server seed from the casino, a client seed from the player and a nonce that increments by one after each bet. The player receives the SHA256 hash of the server seed at the start; the seed itself is revealed only on request. The client seed can be replaced before any roll. On verification the casino discloses the server seed, re-runs the three ingredients to regenerate the roll, and resets the nonce and the seed.
One detail is specific to Dice and Striker: the game has been migrated to a newer game engine. According to the fairness page nothing changed in the provably fair logic and every bet remains verifiable, but rolls placed before and after the migration use different verifiers. The bet details in History show an Engine field; the matching option, Legacy or Modern, must be selected on the Dice tab of roobet.com/fair before pressing Verify Results. Background on the system is in the chapter on fairness and licensing.
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Open the roll in History and note the Engine field |
| 2 | Reveal the server seed; check that its SHA256 equals the hash shown at the start |
| 3 | On the Dice tab choose Legacy or Modern to match the Engine field |
| 4 | Enter the server seed, the client seed and the nonce and press Verify Results |
Dice mistakes and fixes
The slips in Dice concern the direction switch, Autobet and the two verifiers. None of them is about the roll itself, which is fixed by the seeds.
| Mistake | Consequence | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Reading the target without the direction | over 50 and under 50 are different bets with the same target | check the direction toggle before each roll |
| Autobet without a stop rule | the sequence runs until the number of rolls or the balance is exhausted | set stop-on-loss or stop-on-profit values |
| Using the wrong verifier | a Legacy roll checked with the Modern verifier does not reproduce | match the Engine field of the bet |
| Searching for the Dice house edge | the operator does not publish it; third-party figures are guesses | use the multiplier shown on the panel |
| Stake above the cap with a narrow target | the payout is cut at $500,000 | size the stake to the multiplier |
Dice in the catalogue
The catalogue of 22 October 2026 lists Dice with the studio Roobet, the category dice, the tags roobet-games, arcade and wager-excluded, Fun Play on and the release date 10 April 2023. Among the 15 Originals it holds the fifth place in the popularity sort and the second place in the weekly activity counter, behind only the Blackjack Original. The wager-excluded tag is a catalogue field whose scope the site does not explain; the rewards page describes which bets count toward rakeback.
