What Crazy Time is

Evolution presented Crazy Time at ICE 2020 and released it to operators on 1 July 2020 after about a year of development; the press release called it the most expensive game the studio had produced. The format descends from Dream Catcher: a host spins a vertical wheel with 54 segments, and players bet on where the flapper stops. Four segments open separate bonus games with their own sets and multipliers.

  • number spots 1, 2, 5 and 10 cover 45 of the 54 segments;
  • bonus spots Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time cover the other 9;
  • the Top Slot reel spins before every wheel spin and pairs one bet spot with a multiplier;
  • only players with a bet on the bonus spot take part in that bonus round.

Three Crazy Time entries sit in the catalogue: the main table since 28 May 2020, Crazy Time A since 20 January 2023 and the Turkish-language Türkçe Crazy Time since 16 February 2026. None of the three offers a demo; live tables open in real-money mode only.

The Roobet guide opens with an overview of the catalogue, the cashier, the rewards and the licence; this chapter goes into one part of it in detail.

Wheel layout and Top Slot

The segment split below is reproduced by third-party game databases; Evolution's own page describes the spots without counts. A hit on a number spot pays the bet on that number, and a hit on a bonus spot starts the bonus for everyone who bet on it. The Top Slot result applies only when the wheel lands on the matched spot.

The Top Slot shows a bet spot on the left reel and a multiplier on the right reel; databases quote a range of 2x–50x. When the two reels line up and the main wheel then stops on that spot, the multiplier applies to the number payout or raises the starting values inside the bonus.

The four bonus rounds

Each bonus has its own set behind the main wheel. The descriptions follow Evolution's game page; the multiplier caps for Pachinko and the Crazy Time wheel come from the provider page and from secondary databases respectively.

Coin Flip

Two multipliers are generated before the flip, one for the red side and one for the blue side of the coin. The coin is flipped and the side that lands up decides the payout for every player in the round.

Cash Hunt

A wall of 108 random multipliers is shown, then hidden under symbols and shuffled. Each player aims a cannon at one symbol and receives the multiplier behind it, so results differ from player to player.

Pachinko

A puck drops onto a pegged wall and lands in one of the multiplier slots at the bottom. A Double slot doubles every value on the wall and drops the puck again, up to a cap of 10,000x.

Crazy Time

The host opens a red door onto a larger virtual wheel. Players pick a blue, green or yellow flapper; Double and Triple segments raise all values and respin. Databases cite a 20,000x cap, while Evolution's page records a 25,000x win in Cash Hunt on 11 December 2022 as the largest ever paid.

RTP and payouts by bet

Evolution does not publish RTP on its public page. The figures below are the in-game help values as reproduced by third-party databases: RTP 96.08% on the 1 spot (figure published by third-party game databases that reproduce the in-game help; the provider does not print RTP on its public page), falling to 94.33% on Pachinko. Bets on the number spots carry the higher return; the bonus spots trade return for the larger ceilings.

Databases describe a money cap of about €500,000 per bet that the operator configures; the casino does not print its own cap on the game card. Play is for adults of 18 and over; the chapter on responsible gambling lists the limit tools.

How a round goes

The betting window is open for a fixed time before each spin; chips placed after the timer closes are refused. The sequence below covers one round from the lobby.

  1. Open the live lobby from the Game Shows category and pick the Crazy Time table.
  2. Choose a chip value and place it on one or more of the eight bet spots before the timer ends.
  3. Watch the Top Slot reel; a matched spot and multiplier are shown above the wheel.
  4. The host spins the wheel; a number result pays at once, a bonus result moves to the bonus set.
  5. Collect the result on the balance and place chips for the next round.

Crazy Time sits in the Game Shows category of the live lobby.

Limits and rakeback

The operator does not print table limits on the game card. The Game Policy sets third-party games between $0.01–$100 as a minimum and $3–$20,000 as a maximum depending on the title, with a money cap of $5,000–$15,000,000 per game. Secondary databases quote a typical table range of €0.10–€5,000, which the operator can set differently.

Real-money bets on the table accrue Roobet Rewards: instant rakeback can be claimed every 30 minutes, half to the balance and half to the Vault, and daily, weekly and monthly rakeback are credited at 00:00 UTC. Rakeback pauses while a deposit-bonus wagering requirement is active. The chapter on bonuses lists the levels and the Rakeboosts.

The main table, the Turkish-language table and Crazy Time A share the wheel and the four bonuses. Other Evolution wheels of the catalogue, such as Funky Time and Monopoly Live, use different segment sets; the branded Roobet Ice Fishing table runs a 53-segment wheel.
